A POLICE incident closed the M1 in Yorkshire today, causing long delays for motorists. The motorway in South Yorkshire was closed, causing queuing traffic and long delays in both directions between junction 38, A637 (Woolley) and junction 37, A628 (Barnsley). THE number of motorists caught flouting the speed limit by temporary speed cameras on the M62 has rocketed by more than 1,000 per cent. A MAN has admitted stealing more than a dozen house number plates in a bizarre series of thefts from homes in a West Yorkshire community.
